Aoudad Hunting
The Aoudad (is also called the Barbary sheep sometimes),
is an extremely hardy and intelligent exotic animal. It has the unique
ability to retain water from the sparse Texas vegetation and survive
long periods of time without water. This gives the Aoudad the ability to
live in rouged habitats that are too harsh for other animals. The Aoudad
seem to thrive in the roughest country they can find and possess an
extraordinary sixth sense at detecting danger. These factors combined with
the Aoudad's sense of smell, hearing and alertness to danger; make it a very
challenging animal to hunt.
